Dazed and Confused Photoshoot

The team has been as busy in the salon as out recently, what with photo shoots, hair shows and music videos. Most recently Elinor has been busy in London assisting German Colour Technician of the Year, Andreas Kurkowitz, on a short film and photo shoot for Dazed and Confused magazine. Working with Peter Gray, the team brought to life Dazed’s executive fashion editor, Cathy Edwards’, dream of recreating some 80’s punk postcard images.

‘I was a Punk Rock Princess’ took over 3 days and nights to prepare for and film. The models were bleached, cut and brightly coloured with each stage filmed from all angles.

The whole experience was amazing. From the people I was working with to the results we got. The cuts and colours were off the wall. I’m not sure I will be able to recreate all the styles I learnt in the salon, but there are definitely some statement sections I can’t wait to use – elinor
