Alien Inspiration at London Fashion Week a/w 2013

This week Paul and Jade journeyed to the capital to work back stage at Conchita Perez’s London Fashion Week a/w 2013 showstopper. Working on Peter Gray’s PG Zoo, the team created an amazing avant garde hairstyle that exemplified the adventurous nature of Conchita’s designs.

Everything is so amazing and sereal. From the workshop to backstage prep to our final creations. It has been an brilliant experience and I cannot wait to come back. Being able to let yourself go and do such fantastical hair designs was incredible – jade

Having reached London in the morning, Paul and Jade headed to PG zoo headquarters and began their work fine tuning the techniques needed to achieve the gigantic creations. At 3pm they reached the Tower Hamlets venue for the show and began prepping and styling the models hair.

Our brief was based around an alien theme that would exsentuate the models head shape and compliment Conchita’s elegantly extreme designs. When Jade and I stepped up to our models that afternoon and began working, I couldn’t believe this was Jade’s first visit to Fashion Week. I was so proud to see this amazing young hairdresser so confident. Brilliant, just brilliant! – paul
